Matoi is an Omakase Japanese restaurant offering an authentic Edomae-style sushi experience.
We are open for indoor dining Tuesday–Saturday with two seating times: 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. At this time, seating is available exclusively at the sushi bar.
Your dining experience will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. If you book the 5:00 PM seating, please be mindful of the strict timeframe.
For any allergies, please fill out our pre-visit questionnaire and notify us when making your reservation.
Omakase Experience
Our Omakase Course is $185 per person, which includes:
3 small appetizers
Sashimi
8 pieces of nigiri
Dessert
2 to 4 additional seasonal dishes
Enhance your experience with our Sake Pairing for $90 per person, hand-selected by Chef TJ. You can add this option when making your reservation or request it via email.
What to Expect
Matoi serves true Edomae-style sushi, meaning:
The chef seasons each piece as it is served.
Ginger will be provided when your nigiri course begins.
No additional sauces (such as soy sauce, ponzu, or eel sauce) are offered, as they are not part of Edomae tradition.
We look forward to welcoming you to Matoi for an authentic and immersive sushi experience.

We do not accommodate gluten-free, fully cooked meals, vegan, vegetarian, or children's meals.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and provide the best experience possible, we do not allow guests under the age of 18, including children, to dine at our restaurant.
You are welcome to take photos of the food and Chef TJ; however, video recording of any kind is strictly prohibited. Please be mindful of other guests' privacy.
Due to our intimate dining environment, please refrain from making or receiving phone calls, speaking loudly, or wearing strong fragrances such as perfume or marijuana.
Please do not bring additional spices or sauces, as this is considered disrespectful to the chef. Enjoy the food as it is served.
Sushi is meant to be eaten in one bite. Please do not "cheers" with nigiri.
Do not place ginger on top of nigiri. Ginger is meant to be eaten between pieces to cleanse your palate.
To fully appreciate our selected sake, sake bombs are strictly prohibited in our restaurant.
When eating sashimi, do not mix wasabi into the soy sauce. Wasabi is carefully placed on top of the sashimi.
Matoi plays curated music as part of our concept and cannot accommodate music requests.
Please use the chopstick rest (Hashi Oki) instead of placing chopsticks on the sushi plate.
Do not place drinks in the sushi plate area to maintain stability and avoid spills.
